Dua Lipa, a 21 year-old London-born pop singer released Dua Lipa, her debut album on June 2. Dua Lipa began gaining traction as a pop artist in 2016, with hit songs "Hotter Than Hell" and "Blow Your Mind (Mwah)", both of which appear on the album. Lipa is a very young artist and hasn't been in the game too long, however this album is already making a huge splash, hitting #1 on the UK iTunes, debuting higher that Halsey's sophomore album, her only real competition on the pop charts.

2017 has produced a lot of great albums, but I've been waiting for an all around amazing pop album, and Dua Lipa delivered that. This album is full of pop bangers. The opening track "Genesis" is the weakest track on the album, and it still is a great track. Lipa is a force to be reckoned with, and by the time you hit the albums fifth track "IDGAF", that is very clear. "IDGAF" is a fun pop track that is very easy to listen to, and could be a song that we all relate to.

"Blow Your Mind (Mwah)" is one of my favorite pop songs ever, I've listened to this song religiously and am yet to get tired of it. This is the song that proves this girl can make a pop song, she put together a song that will literally blow your mind. I truly don't know how this song didn't blow up.

"Thinking 'Bout You" is one of the few slow songs on the album, and it showcases the young artist writing ability, not to mention a stellar vocal performance throughout the album.
