Next Sunday, February 5th, 2017, Lady Gaga is set to take the stage at the Super Bowl LI Halftime Show. Lady Gaga performed the National Anthem at Super Bowl 50, this past February, and blew the crowd and country away.
Gaga's Halftime show set to between 12-17 minutes, there are no confirmed guest and no confirmed setlist. The NFL has said they haven't told her to keep it non-political, which means it's going to get political. Gaga was very publicly supportive of Hillary Clinton in the 2016 Election, and has strongly voiced her opinion following Trump's win.
I personally think that Lady Gaga is going to make a statement, I wouldn't be surprised to see her to songs about social change, I would be more surprised if she didn't. I think she very well could get up and have a rave, or sit down and a piano and blow us away with her vocals, I expect a little bit of both. I would love to see her bring out Elton John to perform Born This Way, or Florence Welch to perform Hey Girl. No matter what Gaga does, it will leave everyone talking, rather that be about her outfits or her message, I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Get ready for what could go down as the craziest, most surprising Halftime show in history, Gaga has known what she wanted to do with it since she was 4, so we know it's going to be great.
Here are my predictions for the Halftime Setlist; in no particular order:
1. Angel Down - Work Tape
2. Bad Romance
